LOCATION: Carlton Bar and Steakhouse - 1 Papanui Road, Merivale, Christchurch

CONTENT/FOCUS : Hospitality Photography and Event Coverage

I’m always up for a challenge so as part of some ongoing work for the team at NZ Venue Co, I had the opportunity to cover not 1, or 2… but three events over the space of a couple of hours at that iconic Christchurch venue, The Carlton Bar and Steakhouse.

Fast paced action was the call of the day so across a 21st, a 50th and a competition winners dinner, I was running upstairs, downstairs, through the kitchen, behind the bar and generaly having a ball :-). Always a fun job when the vibe is good, as this location was on a busy Saturday night.

With the nature of the shoots like this, it is a case of bouncing light of various parts of the venue to get the best quality images possible without disturbing all the patrons or getting in the way :-)
