Wine Bottle photography

LOCATION: In Studio - Kaiapoi, Christchurch

CONTENT/FOCUS : Wine Bottle Photography

Working with the team at Moko Hills, Bendigo, Central Otago to update their wine bottle photography.

Now, not all wine bottles are created equally, surprisingly there can be quite a difference between them and so some need more “work” to look their best :-)

Moko Hills were pretty close to perfect, with neglible bottle seams etc. The better the base bottle, the better the finished product shot!

Lighting bottles can be done quite a few different ways but over the years I have settled, through much trial and error, on a lighting set up that gives each bottle some “volume”, or as much as you can with a 2D image, with good detail and a balance of contrast that is subtle, without being too “shouty!)
